About the role:
As an Electrician, you will carry out repair work, working on responsive repairs in domestic environments. Working in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure commercial requirements for the number of visits, quality and workmanship, service user satisfaction, and costs are met.
Role Criteria:
* Experience with installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations.
* Have the knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.
* Flexibility to cover the out-of-hours rota where required: 1 weekend in 4, and 1 day a week depending on the business needs to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.
* To ensure that all electrical work is carried out in accordance with The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and in line with the requirements of BS 7671 (as amended) and Mears Electrical Procedures and Policies.
Essential qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 Including AM2.
* Test & Inspection – City & Guilds 2391 Qualification.
* 18th Edition (BS 7671:2018) – City & Guilds 2382.
