Temporary Deputy Headteacher - Full-Time (Summer Term)
Location: Evington
Contract: Full-time, April 2025 - July 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS + Leadership Scale (Paid to Scale from Day One)
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Temporary Deputy Headteacher to join a large, vibrant, and well-established school in Leicester City for the summer term. This full-time role has been created to provide vital leadership support while the school undergoes a restructure and recruits for a permanent post.
The Role:
As Deputy Headteacher, you will:
* Take on key leadership responsibilities, working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
* Support the development and implementation of school-wide strategies and initiatives.
* Provide leadership and expertise in supporting students with SEND - experience in this area is highly advantageous.
* Take on a partial teaching timetable, maintaining high standards of classroom practice and modelling outstanding teaching.
* Support staff development and contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture.
* Play an active role in safeguarding, inclusion, and the wellbeing of both students and staff.

* Has proven leadership experience in a large school setting.
* Is passionate about inclusive education and has experience supporting students with SEND.
* Is an excellent teacher with a track record of strong classroom practice.
* Demonstrates exceptional communication, organisation, and team-building skills.
