Associate Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services
Centre of London
Up to 80k + Benefits
An independently owned building services and environmental design consultancy is currently looking to hire an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their building services team within the London Office.
They currently have a team of 22 employees in the London office and focus on creating sustainable buildings that not only use less energy but also look, feel, and work beautifully. Through collaboration, debate, and technical analysis, they challenge the obvious and accepted norms, seeking change, a better way, or reinforcing tried and tested solutions.
Their client base tends to be client/architecturally led and offers a very collaborative office culture. Their projects are mainly residential and heritage. You will have the opportunity to work on a project from the initial concept design all the way through to stage 4 detail and delivery.
You will be responsible for leading and maintaining a range of projects as well as assisting in developing the technical capability of more junior Mechanical Engineers. You should have ideally worked at a senior level for the last 2-3 years and successfully delivered a range of projects.
You will have at least 6 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and be working towards your CEng status if not already achieved. Ideally, you will have experience in Hevacomp, IES, and RevitMEP.
The company offers great opportunities for career growth and support for professional development. They also have a hybrid working plan that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home 2 days a week and 3 from the office.
