Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Congleton looking for a Teaching Assistant to start after May half-term, with the opportunity to continue on a permanent contract from September. About the role: Start date after May half-term Opportunity to earn £85-£110 (dependent on experience) School is in a great location with excellent transport links between Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher assisting with delivery of lessons ensuring there is always a positive and supportive learning environment. You will collaborate with parents/carers and other members of staff to create and implement individualised learning plans to ensure the national curriculum is accessible to all learning needs. Additionally, you will work 1:1 and in small groups with individuals who require additional support with phonics and maths. What we’re looking for: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience is necessary for this role A genuine passion for the development of young students Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and members of staff Good knowledge of the national curriculum and behaviour management strategies Safeguarding training (must be done through Teaching Personnel) To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced child only DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
