Special Needs Teaching Assistant

GBP80 - GBP90 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: Jan 2025/ASAP. Part time/ Full time or Supply basis.
The School and Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets, a short 5 minute walk from Mile End station. The role would predominantly involve supporting pupils aged 11 to 19 with severe and profound multiple learning difficulties, but the successful candidate will be able to develop their expertise through working across the service as needed as part of our skilled, multi-disciplinary team.

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will:
* Have a passion to teach outside of a mainstream environment, and a commitment to experience the unique opportunities of a special school.
* Have a kind, caring, and compassionate nature which is used to plan and deliver inclusive, fun, and inspiring lessons.
* Be comfortable with personal care.
* Hold a Child and Adult DBS.
