About the role - you will:
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Intern wishing to take on an 11-month placement, commencing on 1st September 2025 to join the End User Services Desktop Support team in Springtown.
You will:
1. Leverage your creativity in solving complex hardware and software issues related to end-user laptops and desktops.
2. Gain valuable insight in troubleshooting network connectivity, application issues, hardware, audio-visual, and telephony equipment problems faced by our end-user community.
3. Learn how to quickly adapt to situations faced by the end-user in a fast-paced environment.
4. Gain real-world experience in configuring, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware in an enterprise environment.
5. Gain a general understanding of the Active Directory environment.
6. Learn how to follow processes and procedures to ensure a high quality of work is delivered to the end-user with minimal disruptions.
7. Gain experience with maintaining password security, data integrity, and file system security for the laptop environment utilizing Bitlocker.
8. Gain experience with documenting Incident tickets from inception through closure in an enterprise incident management system such as ServiceNow.
9. Gain experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM.
About you:
1. You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written form. You must be able to communicate with customers, peers, and management concerning the status of tickets, problems, or suggestions.
2. You can demonstrate experience in creating and executing innovative solutions to solve complex technical support problems.
3. You have experience using critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
4. You have the ability to take proactive, corrective actions, to resolve issues in advance of system problems.
5. You have a general understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting and issue resolution.
6. Knowledge of Office 365 online applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote) and Windows 10 OS.
Your experience includes:
1. Previous experience in a customer-facing job role (not necessarily in an IT environment).
2. You will currently be studying a bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT/Software Engineering related degree programme.
3. Hands-on experience in Information Technology solutions and services.

This is a Full-Time position working 39 hours per week, on-site. The placement dates are: Starting on Monday, 1st September 2025 and finishing Friday, 21st August 2026.
