Technical Manager - Food Production
Location: Llyn Peninsula, North Wales
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per year + bonus scheme

We are a leading recruitment agency partnering with a well-established food production business that specialises in premium fruit preserves and savoury sauces. Our client has a rich history of producing award-winning products using traditional methods and is renowned for maintaining the highest standards in quality. As they continue to expand, they are now looking for a dedicated Technical Manager to join their growing team.
The Role:
As the Technical Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving food safety, legality, and quality management across all areas of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with BRC standards, customer requirements, UK legislation, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety, quality, and legality of all products.
* Ensure compliance with BRC standards and other food regulations.
* Maintain and develop the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure audit readiness at all times.
* Continuously review and improve the HACCP system.
* Train, manage, and mentor the Technical team to uphold and improve standards.
About You:
* Previous experience as a Technical Manager is desirable, but this could also be an excellent step-up opportunity for someone with the right experience.
* Proven success in BRC Audits is essential.
* Experience managing a team.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as this role involves direct contact with customers and suppliers.
* A passion for food and maintaining high standards in quality and safety.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:15pm
* Friday: 7:45am – 3:30pm
* Some overtime may be required during busy periods.

Location & Requirements:
* The position is based at a factory on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, easily accessible via the A499 between Pwllheli and Caernarfon.
* Candidates must have the ability to reliably commute or be willing to relocate.
* UK work authorisation is required.
