Applications are also welcome from experienced calibration engineers with a corresponding adjustment to starting pay.
THE WORK
We are an ISO 17025 laboratory providing UKAS accredited gauge, meter and equipment calibration throughout the whole of the UK. Operating for over 31 years, we have built a reputation for fast turnaround and excellent customer service.
This role is a trainee position in our dimensional laboratory. It is a hands-on role where you will learn how to calibrate measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. You will be calibrating measuring equipment such as thread gauges, micrometers, DTIs, and torque wrenches.
As your confidence and expertise increase, you will become more independent, introduced to more complex work, and develop a deeper understanding of metrology, which can lead to the possibility of more senior positions within the lab.
QUALIFICATIONS
We require a minimum of GCSE Maths Grade C and BTEC Level 3 or 3 A Levels in a relevant subject. Engineering qualifications are preferred but not required.

* You should have clear and legible handwriting.
* You should be prepared to work extra hours at times to meet customer deadlines.
