Responsibilities
As a Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for defining, designing and delivering business solutions which meet our business objectives and uplift our customers' experience. We're looking for a candidate who is proactive, highly motivated, self-managing and can navigate ambiguity. Working alongside other change colleagues, the successful candidate will be involved in:

You will be supporting a Product Owner in defining a prioritised business value driven roadmap of change. You will be accountable for the insightful analysis and influencing that supports the Product Owner with decision making. This will include scoping, shaping, task planning and estimation, defining outcomes, working closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into defined functional deliverables to enable subsequent delivery of the required business outcomes.
Using your broad knowledge of technology, business process, operational models, governance, risk management and change delivery methods you will work closely with other change professionals (including Architecture, Engineering and Business Change) to deliver end to end solutions that efficiently deliver business outcomes. You will be required to interact with and influence a diverse range of colleagues from across the business and have an adaptable style of communication to ensure clarity of scope and outcomes across these stakeholders.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Northampton, Swindon, Bournemouth or London office. What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
* Utilise a variety of analysis techniques to gather the information required to enable the Product Owner, and others, to make informed decisions and define measurable outcomes.
* Use your business analysis, solution knowledge, organisational knowledge and influencing to identify solutions and elicit requirements to achieve value driven outcomes. This will include the creation of Epics and User Stories which you will manage through the delivery lifecycle, risk and dependency management and traceability management.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the team and broader Nationwide functions to support delivery of change that aligns with our strategic goals.
* Develop and mentor the team (including the possibility of line management) to ensure continuous improvement is embedded in our day-to-day operations.
* Collaborate with our technical sprint teams to ensure clarity on the deliveries required to enable the desired outcomes.
About You
* Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst.
* Experience of leading analysis deliverables as part of a large scale change team.
* A conceptual, lateral thinker with excellent insight in defining business outcomes and requirements within a controlled delivery environment with the ability to analyse and problem-solve to determine solutions.
* Knowledge in business solution/analysis techniques, tools, and methods with a strong understanding of their purpose, fit and relevance when initiating developments.
* A strong understanding of the role of demonstrable compliance and governance within a rapid delivery environment.
* An understanding of Agile delivery techniques and working with diverse multi-disciplined teams, consisting of internal and external resources i.e. third party suppliers and contractors.
* The ability to confidently communicate; with the ability to influence stakeholders, task manage an analyst team and communicate progress at various levels.
* A willingness to learn and gain a fundamental understanding of the systems and approaches used to deliver the service our customers deserve and expect.
