their home in Fort William! The salary ranges up to £46,000 plus benefits including enhanced parental leave and highstreet discounts!
TThe service is unique, not just a residential but also a community outreach programme. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the residential home and reporting back to the area manager. However you will also match families in the local community with workers in your team who will support them to get back on track and ultimately keep their children from being taken into care. There may also be an element of crisis support, providing a safe space for a child while your team work with them and their family to either get them back home, or take other relevant next steps!

A successful registered manager will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a residential home and outreach service
- Supervising staff and maintaining staff rota and logs
- Supporting the social and physical needs of children with disabilities
- Co-ordinating with wider care team
- Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
- Foster a positive working environment for the team under your leadership
- Handle admissions, placements and transitions smoothly
To be successful in your registered manager application, you will:
- Have previous experience working in a similar position or demonstrable experience that you are ready for the next step
- Demonstrate ability to successfully lead a team
- Have solid knowledge of care regulations and safeguarding policies in Scotland
- Register under the PVG scheme
- Full driving licence
- Obtained SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
- PDA Leadership and Management for Care Services is advantageous but not necessary
