We are seeking experienced Machining & Assembly Team Members to join our high-precision manufacturing team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for operating milling machines, assembling parts, and ensuring the production of high-quality components for various industries.
This role is based on a Temporary Basis - which is ongoing with Guaranteed weekly hours
These roles will be on a 2 shift rotation pattern
A shift - Monday - Thursday - 6ampm and Friday 6ampm
B Shift (20% Premium) Monday - Thursday 13.25pmpm and Friday 12.35pmpm
Hourly rates for these roles vary depending on experience starting from £11.79 - £15.31 - This will be discussed at Interview
Your Time at Work
- Operate milling machines and other precision tools to produce and shape parts according to detailed specifications.
- Set up and adjust machinery for each production run, ensuring that measurements and calibrations are correct.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality and accuracy.
- Assemble machined parts and subassemblies, following technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
- Document production details, including quantities, materials used, and any deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot machinery issues and resolve any production bottlenecks.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while working with machinery and tools.
Our Perfect Worker
Ideal candidates will have a background in machining or mechanical assembly, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. If you are mechanically inclined, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you! We are willing to seek and speak to applicants with minimal experience in the above.
With a background in manufacturing/production, though this is NOT essential.
You will require a good work history, a keen eye for detail and a willingness to work and learn a new skill
