As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and plans for NIVEA Face Care. Your Tasks Strategy Development Conduct analysis of the UK skincare market, identifying trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape. Ensure that the medium and long-term strategy for NIVEA Face Care aligns with the global brand strategy. Set clear commercial targets (e.g., market share, sales growth) that are realistic and achievable based on market insights. Annual Marketing Planning Create a comprehensive annual marketing plan that outlines key initiatives, campaigns, and activities aligned with the brand strategy and commercial targets. Work closely with sales, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure that the marketing plan is feasible and supports overall business objectives. Campaign Delivery Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience, utilizing a mix of media channels (digital, social, traditional) and creative assets. Consumer Insights Utilise qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather insights into consumer needs, preferences, and behaviors. Leverage these insights to inform marketing strategies, product development, and campaign execution, ensuring that they are consumer-centric. New Product Launches Identify new products or re-launch opportunities based on market gaps and consumer demand. Lead the New Product Launch (NPL) process, ensuring alignment with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to maximise launch success. Monitoring & Reporting Regularly monitor brand performance against KPIs, analysing sales data, market share, and campaign effectiveness. Keep a close eye on competitor activities, sharing insights with the team to identify new opportunities or threats. Develop and implement strategies to address performance issues, ensuring continuous improvement. Budget Management Manage the marketing budget for the brand, ensuring that spending aligns with the approved plan and identifying areas for cost savings. Provide recommendations to the Marketing Manager to avoid overspending or underspending, ensuring that profit margins are protected. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party agencies (advertising, PR, digital) to ensure high-quality service and effective campaign execution. Regularly assess agency performance and ROI, making adjustments as necessary to optimize collaboration. International Collaboration Collaborate with global marketing teams to influence the development of strategies and communications that are tailored to the UK market. Share UK market insights and performance data with global teams to inform broader brand strategies and initiatives. Your Profile Proven experience in brand management, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry. Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, consumer insights, and campaign performance metrics. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. A deep understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
