Your role and responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for 2 talented Inpatient Care RVN’s to cover maternity leave positions, on fixed term contracts. There may be an opportunity for these roles to become permanent at the end of the fixed term contract, as we are incredibly passionate about RVN development and growth.
Our current nursing team consists of 16 dedicated PCA’s and 43 outstanding RVN’s, many of whom hold advanced qualifications, including 4 VTS holders in – Medicine, Anaesthesia, ECC and Oncology.
We are looking to hear from enthusiastic and compassionate nurses who genuinely care about clinical standards, ward-based nursing care and client excellence. You will need to be confident in all aspect of inpatient care nursing, including rotations into our HDU.
You will work as part of our truly talented day team providing exceptional care to our patients from internal medicine, neurology, surgery, oncology and dermatology.
This is a varied role that will require you to be able to work under pressure, coordinate cases and be willing to learn and develop your skills.
Potential applicants will need to be effective at time management and communication, have a desire to grow within the role and be passionate about providing the best standards of care to our deserving patients.

We do require at least one year's worth of experience as an RVN
Hours
4 x 10 hour shifts, ranging from 6:30am-7:30pm, Monday to Friday (5 x 8 hour shifts can be considered).
1 in 5 weekend day shifts, either a Saturday or a Sunday.

About us
We are a true multidisciplinary referral hospital with departments in orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurology, internal medicine, oncology, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging and dermatology.
Each of the clinical disciplines is staffed to European Diplomate or RCVS Specialist standards. The hospital is well equipped and provides excellent inpatient facilities with qualified RVNs and veterinary interns on-site 24/7. Imaging includes computed radiography, fluoroscopy (with digital subtraction and road-mapping), ultrasonography and on-site MRI and CT.
