Planner Location: Wellingborough, Hybrid (Remote and Office) Reports to: Operations Manager We are seeking a Planner who is adept at creating effective and efficient plans, ensuring a challenging but achievable schedule is met. This role is ideal for someone who is self-driven, a problem solver, and has excellent communication skills. Day-to-day of the role: Manage and update labour and transport schedules. Update planned work register Manage and update project progress planner. Organise inductions and book deliveries/collections. Book third-party labour, transport, and inspections. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and contract managers daily, both in writing and verbally. Attend daily and weekly progress meetings. Ensure the correct paperwork is received, filed for each section of a project, and uploaded to SAP. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experienced project planner, comfortable using CRM/ERP systems. NVQ in Business Administration is desirable but not essential. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Strong budget control skills. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and adopt logical thinking to overcome problems. Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to review and analyse data effectively. Commercial acumen with the ability to identify cost improvements and minimise external labour and transport costs through effective planning.
