TIMAC AGRO, a leader in plant and animal nutrition, we seek a Technical R&D Advisor to drive innovation in UK crop research and development.

Located in our office in Harpenden - This pivotal role involves conducting market analysis to identify trends and opportunities, addressing agronomic challenges, and collaborating with local and international research institutions such as the Groupe Roullier World Innovation Center (CMI).
Additionally, you will spearhead initiatives to expand market presence by targeting high-priority crops and engaging key industry stakeholders. The successful candidate must have a PhD in agronomy, specializing in plant or soil nutrition, biology, or health.
Your objectives as Technical R&D Advisor:
Research:
* Conduct market analysis of key UK crops to identify trends and opportunities.
* Assess agronomic challenges in the UK and collaborate with the CMI to develop effective solutions.
* Initiate new market research in partnership with the CMI to drive innovation and address industry challenges.
* Identify market growth opportunities by targeting high-priority crops.
* Partner with universities, technical institutes, and R&D facilities on local development projects, as well as initiatives with the Groupe Roullier World Innovation Center (CMI).
* Strengthen the technical credibility of our products by obtaining relevant certifications and labels.
Development:
* Advocate for TIMAC AGRO's innovative solutions within local technical and scientific communities.
* Introduce and promote solutions that address crop challenges through distribution channels and certified bodies such as the British Sugar Board.
* Lead key projects to expand TIMAC AGRO's market presence in the UK.
* Connect with key industry stakeholders
Your Profile:
* PhD in agronomy, specializing in plant or soil nutrition, plant biology or plant health.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
* Team player with the ability to collaborate with external partners.
