Junior Buyer – Hinckley – Up to £28,000 Chase & Holland are delighted to be partnered with a successful and very well-established Manufacturing and Engineering business based in Hinckley as they seek to recruit for a new Junior Buyer to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Buyer, this exciting position will offer progression and opportunity within Purchasing and/or Project management. This is an ideal role for a Graduate or someone early on in their procurement career looking to secure a position that can develop them further. Operational Buyer Responsibilities:
* Updating Supplier information
* Maintaining the system and database
* Raising purchase orders for Direct and Indirect suppliers
* Maintaining order books
* Manage system messages
* Monitoring of stock levels ensuring on time delivery
* Maintaining a good knowledge of goods and services procured
* Support the purchasing team with project and administrations
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30 and 7:30am – 12:30pm Friday (Flexible) Required Skills & Experience:
* Engineering / Manufacturing experience would be advantageous but not essential
* Have strong attention to detail and be IT literate including Microsoft Excel
* Be able to work to deadlines
