Position Overview
Based in Ipswich, we are seeking a proactive and highly organised Training Co-ordinator who is an effective communicator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth planning, delivery, and support to our trainers and assessors within our school. The role also includes some marketing and advertising functions for the school such as distributing course adverts, contributing to marketing strategies, and overseeing updates to the company website.
Essential Attributes
1. Be able to communicate in an effective and confident manner.
2. Confident in using computers and dealing with IT issues in general, with proven working knowledge of using Microsoft Word and Excel software packages, and using the internet and emails.
3. Ability to compose letters and other documents with minimal supervision.
4. Excellent attention to detail.
5. Prepare reports as required.
6. Able to co-ordinate and prioritise workloads under the direction of the Training Manager.
Desirable Attributes
1. Awareness of Health and Safety Legislation.
2. Awareness of industry-specific accreditations and approvals.
3. Experience of working with databases.
4. Experience in updating web pages.
5. Awareness of technical aspects of the training school and the rail signalling industry in general.
6. Have a good understanding of Marketing and Advertising strategies.
