In this exciting position you will be instrumental in supporting councillors in their role as community leaders and empowering communities to take charge of the issues that matter most to them, helping them to reach their full potential. As a Community Engagement Officer, you will have responsibility for a specific geographic area, providing key support for elected councillors and helping them to work with communities to identify and deliver local priorities. Planning, delivering and facilitating ongoing engagement with a range of community stakeholders to gather insights and identify solutions for local services and issues. Supporting communities to initiate and nurture community projects that inspire active participation and foster sustainable success. Our Community Engagement Officers support and facilitate communities to succeed, working proactively with councillors to create positive impacts and improving outcomes, creating sustainable success for communities.
