Our customers, which include some of the most respected brands in the food industry, rely on our expertise and commitment to safety to deliver on their commitments. - Goal The primary goal of the National Account Manager - UK is to drive revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with key customers. This role is integral to strengthening Americold’s footprint in the UK market, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring retention and fostering organic growth. Act as the primary point of contact for key UK customers, addressing their needs and identifying opportunities to enhance their experience with Americold. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that align with customer requirements and drive long-term value. Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions in partnership with senior stakeholders to maximize profitability and ensure competitive positioning. Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage customer data, track engagement, and ensure accurate reporting. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for service enhancements and additional business. Attend industry events, trade fairs, and networking opportunities to strengthen Americold’s presence in the UK food industry. Provide strategic insights and support to the Business Development Director, VP Business Development Europe, and other key leaders on commercial activities and customer relationships. Required Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, customer relationship management, or sales within the food sector. Proven track record in managing national accounts, with a preference for experience in temperature-controlled supply chain, distribution, or logistics. Strong understanding of the UK food industry and its market dynamics. Excellent ability to inspire, influence, and build trust with clients and stakeholders based on experience and personality.\ Preferred Qualifications Strong team player with exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills. Proven negotiation, decision-making, and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
