An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join an already very successful team. Currently looking for Night Shift Welder.
Full-time, overtime may be available, so flexibility is desirable.
As a Welder, you would be a qualified and competent welder responsible for various repairs and other tasks around our busy site.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Working on the plant that requires welding maintenance.
2. Liaising and reporting to workshop mechanic / site manager / night shift supervisor.
3. General maintenance and repair of machinery.
4. Complete daily job sheet.
5. Using a variety of specialist equipment and tools.
6. Liaising with site management regarding required repairs and parts ordering.
7. Other duties within your competency.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in working within this sector is essential.
2. Additional training can be given.
3. Ability to work as part of a team.
4. Punctual.
5. Reliable.
6. Flexible.
7. Driving Licence and own transport desirable due to the location.
8. Good level of English.
9. Attention to detail.
10. FLT or any other mobile plant tickets are desirable (e.g. MEWP).
Essential:
1. Keen to learn new skills and willing to attend trainings.
2. Proven mechanical experience and relevant skills – e.g. NVQs.
3. High awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Salary is negotiable, depending on skills and experience.
