As a senior mental health support worker, you will support people with mental health issues to live flourished and fulfilled lives. You will do this by working with them in a psychologically and trauma informed way creating support plans with them. The support plans will detail all their support needs such as helping them to manage their medications, support to attend health appointments, to manage their accommodation, budget their finances etc. A lot of the people we support, will need emotional support as they are suffering from long standing mental health illness. There are multiple vacancies available in different projects throughout Swansea. The different schemes have various service provisions which can be discussed at the interview stage or by phone if you have any questions.
