Job Title: Project Engineer
Reporting To: Head of Projects, UK
Location: Proseal UK (secondment to Proseal US)
Shift Pattern/Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. A total of 40 hours per week.

Job Summary
The role of Project Engineer will be to plan, execute, monitor and control high-value, technical projects. Duties include setting deadlines, providing feedback, and communicating with clients about the status of their project.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities
1. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
2. Oversee projects from specification through to installation, commissioning, and training of the team.
3. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
4. Track project milestones and deliverables against budget.
5. Gain a full and comprehensive knowledge of the inner workings of the UK and US planning board, including understanding product entries at the planning stage, manufacturing capabilities based on current machinery lead-times, eBOM parts lists, department responsibilities and the importance of concise delivery instruction and planning.
6. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the plan and escalate as required.
7. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
8. Maintain close communication with key contacts within Proseal America to provide the best possible customer-supplier relationship experience.
9. Machine Testing – Operate a pivotal role in providing the business with a well-documented testing procedure for all relevant machinery in preparation for the customer’s site.
10. For comprehensive testing, the applicant must have, or be working towards, a broad and wide-ranging knowledge of the Proseal machinery fleet. An understanding of ELV control techniques and process flow is also essential.
Job Requirements

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Projects, etc).
5. Financial Management familiarity.

7. Demonstrate a high degree of reliability, flexibility, and self-motivation.
8. Maintain a positive outlook within the Proseal working environment and assist less experienced members of staff with strong technical knowledge and insight.
9. Ability to analyse, problem solve and execute.
10. Detail-oriented and punctual.

Experience
1. At least 5 years engineering experience specifically in tray sealing machine technology.
2. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing organisation.
3. Advanced knowledge and skills including technical or functional expertise, business acumen, financial analysis skills, risk management, delegation skills, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
