It is a leading charity with offices across Northern Ireland and the UK. Hays have been appointed by this client to recruit a Business Support Officer to join their team in Derry City. This is an office-based position, initially for 6 months with a possible extension / permanent position. You will work 30 hours per week.
Your new role
As Business Support Officer, you will provide a range of administrative and front of house services. This will include:- organising business meetings, notifying participants, arranging refreshments, agenda preparation and minuting meetings.piling written, verbal and e-correspondence. Producing presentations, written and financial reports for management. You will be responsible for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of data inputted. Retain up-to-date and accurate records of financial transactions through the inputting and retrieval of data from information systems, including the payment of invoices, purchase orders and petty cash, card readers, on-line payments and P cards. You will also provide a professional front of house service to wee internal and external visitors, ensuring visitors' experience is weing and professional to reflect brand and values.
What you'll need to succeed
As Business Support Officer, essentially, you will have a Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification OR work experience. You will be proficient in Microsoft suite. You will have excellentmunication skills and be confident liaising with internal and external customers via verbal and written forms. Attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes and demonstrate good practice to others is essential. You will be experienced at providing a confidential, professional service and working flexibly to meet the demands of the role within a team environment.
