Interim Assistant Accountant required for Havant-based business
Your new company
You will be working for an organisation which I have worked with a number of times in the past, who are seeking an interim Assistant Accountant to support with month-end, year-end audit and other financial support (AR, AP, VAT etc.).
Your new role
You will be supporting the finance function in Havant with AP, AR, VAT and month-end. Tasks as below:
1. Updating the cashbook, and ensuring efficient management of General Ledger
2. Bank Reconciliations
3. Cash forecasting
4. Month End support with Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
5. Checking VAT posting
6. Provide cover for payroll in the absence of Financial Controller
7. Support both Sales & Purchase Ledger
8. Assisting with Annual Audits
9. Assisting with budget preparation.
What you'll need to succeed
1. You will require full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience in a finance team.
2. Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or AAT - or QBE
3. Flexibility on hours between 25 and 37.5 dependent on fit for the role.
