Summary
To be part of a team rota who cook lunch for about 30 people in a well-equipped kitchen.
Detailed Description
Providing a warm meal is essential for giving hospitality to those who visit us, and this enables other volunteers to have meaningful conversations with our clients.
A food safety certificate will be needed or the willingness to do the online training.
Facilities and ingredients will be provided, and another volunteer will help with preparation and clearing up.
The rota is flexible for volunteers to offer us their time between once a week or once a month.
We welcome anyone interested to view our website and contact us for an informal chat/visit.
We support those in Minehead who are homeless, have problems associated with addictions, or are lonely or vulnerable. We have drop-in sessions on Tuesday & Friday from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Minehead Baptist Church. See more opportunities by Minehead Hope Centre Trust.
