Job Advert for a Band 6 Community Learning Disability Nurse. City CLDT
Post: Community Learning Disability Nurse (Band 6).
Qualification: RNLD and community experience desirable.
Base: City CLD Team, Aberdeen
Hours: 37 hours per week.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Nurse to work as part of the Aberdeen City Community Learning Disability Team to achieve positive and effective health outcomes for people who have learning disabilities and complex health needs.
The applicant should be a 1st level Registered Learning Disability Nurse ideally with experience of working in both an inpatient and community setting. More importantly however, is the ability to evidence knowledge and experience of providing evidence based interventions. Applicants should have good knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to this client group and evidence advanced communication skills. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team would be advantageous. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate professional leadership.
The post holder should hold a current full driving license and have access to a car for work purposes.
