Accommodation Officer (12 Month FTC) £29,605 – £31,396 pro rata OXFORD
Our client is seeking an experienced Accommodation Officer to become part of their welcoming and supportive team for a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.
They are looking for a highly organized administrator with a background in accommodation—experience within an education environment is particularly desirable.

Accommodation Officer (FTC) Responsibilities
In this pivotal role you will oversee all aspects of the organisations’ accommodation portfolio, as well as:
* Assisting with events administration
* Completing financial administration tasks
* Communicating with people at all levels
* Attending committee meetings
* Assisting with internal and external requests and queries
* Conducting an annual audit

Accommodation Officer Experience Essentials
To be successful in this role it is desirable that you have worked within a higher education setting with an existing understanding of how they operate however, candidates who are degree qualified and possess strong administration skills, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to communicate with an array of people from students to fellows will also be considered. It is essential that you have experience with student accommodation issues and would be a bonus if you have knowledge around tenancy agreements. As well as having excellent IT skills you must be flexible, and happy working as part of a team or independently. Your attention to detail and accuracy must be second to none and you must be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful applicant will be able to juggle conflicting priorities with ease.
Location
This role is offered on a full-time, fixed-term contract basis for 12 months, and is located onsite at the college in Oxford, although there can be flexibility around home working from time to time.
35 hours per week with core hours of 9am – 5pm.

The train station is a 20-minute walk from the college, and it is a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre. There is currently car parking available.
