What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful applicant will:
- Undertake a range of specialist tasks to support the learning and development of pupils;
- Promote independence and positive behaviour through a ‘least help first’ approach;
- Have a positive impact on the attainment and progress of pupils, taking into consideration their particular needs;
- Have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience, including grade C or equivalent in English and maths.
What the school offers its staff
The role is:
- Likely to be in Years 5 and 6
- An opportunity to lead classes as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant may be available according to the needs of the school
- 9:00am-12:30pm, Monday-Friday
- 1:20-3:30pm, two afternoons per week (days to be agreed with the successful candidate)
- 21 hours 50 minutes per week - Additional hours may be available according to the needs of the school
- Permanent contract
