About the role:
Working in a hospital pharmacy. The Pharmacy Departments provide ward based, Dispensary, and Aseptic Dispensing Services to a range of general and specialist areas including Admissions Unit, General Medical and Surgical, Haematology and Oncology and Critical Care wards. We have a good integrated team of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Support Workers and there is a supportive Pharmacy Education and Training team.

Your main responsibilities as a Pharmacist:
* Exercise professional supervision over dispensing activities for inpatients, outpatients and aseptically-prepared dispensed medicines
* Clinical checking of prescriptions to ensure appropriateness, effectiveness, compliance with medicines legislation and monitoring for Risk Management issues
* Dispensing and final checking
* Ensuring compliance with the Medicines Management Policy, the Trust Formulary and other Trust Policies
What we are looking for in a Pharmacist:
* Must be GPHC registered or in process of registration
