Job Description:
We are actively looking for a Fire and Building Safety Officer to join a housing association in the Birmingham area on a permanent basis. Responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out building and fire door inspections, managing and reviewing fire risk assessments
2. Ensuring policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with current legislation
3. Managing data entry and ensuring certificates and risk assessments are properly filed
4. Inspecting properties to ensure fire and building safety standards are met and fire safety systems are current
Requirements:
1. In-depth knowledge of fire and building safety processes
2. Experience conducting fire safety checks on domestic properties
3. Knowledge of M&E services
4. Previous experience in the social housing sector
5. Proficiency with IT systems and data logging
