We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking, fully remote accountancy practice, looking for an experienced Senior Financial Administrator to join their growing team. The Role As a Senior Financial Administrator, you will take on a more advanced role within the team, supporting both clients and junior financial administrators. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong experience in an accountancy practice setting who is looking for a fully remote role with a dynamic and modern firm. Key Responsibilities: Providing regular support and training to the Financial Administrators in the team. Maintaining clients' financial records through regular bookkeeping and bank reconciliation using Xero, with a focus on larger, more complex, and new clients. Supporting the Management Accountant with the collation of accounting records for month-end and year-end reporting. Assisting in the preparation of management reports and year-end accounts. Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns. Managing and preparing monthly payroll for clients. Supporting the supplier payment runs for clients. Providing day-to-day support to clients on finance matters. About You To be considered for this role, you must have: A minimum of two years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice in an administrative or bookkeeping role. AAT Level 4 or close to finishing Level 4 Strong academic background, including GCSEs in Mathematics and English (A-B / 7-9 grade equivalent). Experience working within a modern, paperless practice. A solid understanding of Xero, bookkeeping principles, and payroll processes. Knowledge of financial controls and best practices, with the ability to document and share processes with colleagues. A keen interest in bookkeeping and financial administration, with a desire to build a career in this field. Skills & Attributes Highly organised and adaptable, with strong self-management and time management skills. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple client workloads effectively. Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to support junior team members. What's on Offer?
