Main Purpose of Role: As a Product Technical Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the global market with tenders & quotations for the distribution network and key accounts. Your primary responsibilities include providing timely and accurate responses to technical requests for quotations and utilising CRM software for all issued quotations. The key objective is to be proactive and positive in assisting to secure orders for the company and drive sales through the delivery of exceptional customer service. Reviewing customer enquiry requirements, liaising with suppliers and internal departments to collate technical information in order to produce necessary documentation. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all enquiries are logged into company CRM system within the agreed SLAs & KPIs and customer requirement dates are accurately recorded. Fully review technical requirements contained in customer’s enquiry and issue quotations in full accordance, and comment on any deviations from specification. Liaise with suppliers regarding non-standard items required to meet customer requirements and retain records of technical details, lead times and costing using utilising numerous fan selection software tools. Produce and submit technical quotations, incorporating full details of selections and products offered, in full accordance with customer requirements and company procedures, answering any technical queries resulting from issue of quotation. Provide high level of service to customers, answering any general queries and giving technical guidance required on a daily basis, consistently exceeding customer expectations in terms of responsiveness. Maintain accurate costing records for majority of quotes issued, ensuring any non-configurable products are clearly defined and available to manufacture. Meet quotation return dates requested by customers and keep customers informed of any delays or extensions required. Have a general understanding of contract terms and conditions. Transfer all information and knowledge of the quotation to the Order Management Team at the point of order placement. Ensure accuracy in the entry of all data into the CRM system, as well as maintenance of existing data, adhering to established processes. Timely provision of all necessary customer documentation, including order acknowledgments, drawings, and certificates, with a focus on efficiency and adherence to deadlines. Address and progress all quotation requests for designated customers by collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers. Streamline communication and coordination to meet customer expectations effectively.
