The company is a successful business in Northampton who have an immediate requirement to recruit a temp ASAP. This role could be a possible temp to perm for the right candidate!
Job Description
3. Processing Accounts Payable invoices
4. Ensuring the approval process is being followed
5. Allocating daily banking against client invoices
6. Managing the Accounts Receivable mailbox: responding to queries etc
7. Approving expenses, credit card transactions & travel bookings in line with policies
8. Reviewing expenses ensuring GL coding & VAT treatment is correct
9. Daily bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
10. Support with month-end reporting
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Previous exposure in a similar role.
12. A strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
13. Adept at using financial software and MS Office tools.
14. Excellent numeric skills with attention to detail.
15. Strong organisational and communication skills.
