Benton Dene Special School is a primary specialist provision for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and/or for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We share our site with a mainstream primary school, in an integrated primary learning campus with excellent grounds and facilities.
The Governors of this innovative and inclusive school wish to appoint creative, hard-working, enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA’s who will contribute fully to raising standards through their teaching and personal contributions to the wider life of the school. We have an outstanding staff team, an exciting and creative approach to the curriculum and wonderful children.
The overall purpose of the role will be to:
* Take responsibility for agreed learning activities in the absence of teaching staff.
* Support the curriculum delivery across school.
* Take responsibility for managing and developing your area of expertise.
