Nurse Disability Assessor Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Disability Assessor. As a Nurse Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to determine their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals to gather information about their health conditions and how they impact their daily life.
* Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
* Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely assessments.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a high-quality service.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin registration.
* At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience, with UK experience being essential.
* Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and have strong IT competency.

Working Arrangements:
