We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP YOI Drake Hall, a closed-category prison located in Stafford.
HMP Drake Hall is an adult female prison for individuals aged 18+.
The Pharmacy Team consists of a Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and Pharmacist.
Hours: This role is a 37.5 hours per week position, Monday - Sunday, 7.15am-7pm.
Salary: This full-time position offers an annual salary between £27,247 - £32,346 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing:
* Provide outstanding quality-based patient-centered care to our patients.
* Ensure standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
* Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards.
* Administer medicines and analyze cost-effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy.
* Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, partners, and stakeholders.
* Promote best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement.
* Share information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines management, and drug regimes.

Qualifications required:
* NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent.
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.
* General GCSE education or equivalent.
* Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
