Job summary Staff Nurse - SMART Team Division: Operational Band: 5 Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum/pro rata We are recruiting for the SMART (Surgical Medical Acute Recovery Team), a Staff Nurse, who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take the service and the Trust forward, by ensuring that we continue to be the first choice for patients. Please note applicants must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle Main duties of the job As a Staff Nurse you will provide clinical and professional leadership, supervision and support to patients, and students within the SMART team. You will triage, assess, plan and implement the care of patients who are discharged home under the care of the SMART service in the community, review and give care to SMART patients attending SDEC/ Hot clinic for review, administer IV treatments, wound care, drain management and conduct virtual visits using our remote patient monitoring pathways. Members of SMART work autonomously, therefore we are looking for someone who is willing to lone work. Specific training will be provided to facilitate the pathways covered by SMART in-house as well as the community.
