Accounts Senior

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing professional services firm that offers a full range of accountancy services.
About the Role:

The role involves delivering a first-class service to a diverse client portfolio while providing support in accounts and audit functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and take responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.
2. Oversee client bookkeeping and preparation of complex company financial statements.
3. Prepare interim management accounts, personal tax returns, partnership accounts, and VAT returns.
4. Provide VAT registration and deregistration support.
5. Assist with forecasts and business projections (desirable but not essential).
6. Attend client meetings and liaise with directors and business owners.
7. Train and mentor junior staff, allocating duties as needed.
8. Handle company secretarial duties and prepare P11ds (desirable).
9. Work to budgets and meet monthly forecasts.
10. Provide additional general accountancy and administrative support as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Confident communicator with both written and verbal skills.
2. Organised, proactive, and self-motivated.
3. ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience.
