Job overview
The Phlebotomy team at North Manchester General Hospital are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the existing team. This is a fast-paced multi departmental service delivered across five days, no weekend or Bank Holidays.
Duties will include blood sampling for patients on all Outpatients areas, providing a service to the very busy and demanding blood sampling room, and for patients attending clinics of varying specialties.
Main duties of the job
Providing Phlebotomy Service to patients. The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate, and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of patient care.
