We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Youth Worker to join our team. As an Assistant Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in your community. This is a rewarding role that requires passion, creativity, and the ability to connect with young individuals. All youth centres plan using the Youth Curriculum, which gives young people an opportunity to experience a wide range of activities.
We are looking for a person who:
1. is energetic, inspiring, and an excellent role model
2. has skills or interests in art, music/DJing, cookery, or sport
3. can talk with young people in an open and honest manner
4. can follow instructions and work under the direction of a Project Youth Worker
5. wants to make a local difference by helping children, young people, and families
6. is great at talking to people and engaging them in activities and conversations
If you are interested in joining the team to achieve better outcomes for young people and would like an informal discussion about this role, please contact Natasha Hoggard on 077990426219 or email natasha.hoggard@northlincs.gov.uk.
As an employer, we promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expect the same commitment from existing and prospective employees or volunteers. Recruitment to this post will follow our safer recruitment procedure, which includes us requesting references prior to interview and a DBS check.
