About The Role
The Support Technicians role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. Installing and upgrading hardware/software and performing troubleshooting of end user issues. The role requires technical troubleshooting abilities and excellent customer service skills.
About You
To be successful in this role, we're looking for you to have:
1. Third Level Education or Equivalent
2. Full current driving licence
3. Significant experience in Desktop Support
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
5. Proficient in the use of Active Directory and Windows Operating Systems
6. VDI Desktop Support
7. Smart phone configuration
8. Ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks within a high volume, time focused environment
9. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work undertaken
10. Proven methodical, analytical and organised approach to tasks
11. Ability to adapt to and implement new technologies
12. Quality focused with proven ability to adhere to and identify improvements to Standard Operating Procedures
13. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
14. Takes full responsibility for all tasks assigned and ensures successful closure/resolution.
15. Ability to mentor members of the team in areas of expertise.
