Location: Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun – Based on site and must be able to attend a recruitment day in Glasgow.
Salary: £37,318.00 (additional shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)

What you’ll be doing:
* Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni, carbon steel and stainless steel).
* Using a range of hand tools & mechanical equipment to cut, bend and weld pipes as well as installation of pipework.
* Installing utilities aboard ship i.e. sinks, showers, and toilets.
Your skills and experiences:
* Modern Apprenticeship certificate also known as Trade Papers (you will be required to provide papers).
* Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Clear understanding of SHE, COSHH risks awareness.
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height.
* Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc.
* Background in a major construction / manufacturing environment.
