Responsibilities as a Supply Teacher: Teach and encourage student learning in various classroom settings as directed by the Head Teacher, often with short notice. Demonstrate commitment to positive behaviour management and maintain pupil's health and safety during school activities. Attend to administrative and pastoral needs of assigned classes/groups. Set challenging yet appropriate tasks, ensuring high levels of student interest and expectations. Plan and deliver activities aligned with the National Curriculum, catering to student's needs and abilities. Set, mark, record, and return work following school policies. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification. Possession of or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Driving ability preferred due to rural locations.
