Head of OSS/BSS and Digitalisation
About the Role
This role will lead the strategic development and implementation of our Operations, Support Systems, Business Support Systems, and digital transformation initiatives. The Head of OSS/BSS and Digitalisation is essential in driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and supporting overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will blend people leadership, management, and technical expertise, viewing IT as a strategic enabler for the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Culture Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of IT professionals to meet business objectives.
* Strategic Vision: Develop and maintain an OSS/BSS strategy aligned with organizational goals.
* Digital Transformation: Drive digital initiatives to streamline operations, improve customer interactions, and create new revenue streams.
* Systems Management: Oversee and optimize OSS/BSS systems to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
* Technology Integration: Integrate OSS/BSS systems with other IT platforms to boost overall performance.
* Vendor Relations: Establish and manage relationships with technology vendors to align solutions with strategic objectives.
* Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by exploring and adopting new technologies and approaches.
* Team Development: Mentor and grow a high-performing team of OSS/BSS professionals.
* Budget Oversight: Ensure projects and ongoing operations are delivered within budgeted CAPEX and OPEX.
Education & Experience
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar).
* Experience with cloud-based OSS/BSS solutions and customer-facing roles.
* Relevant certifications in IT or telecommunications are a plus.
* Proven track record in a senior leadership role within the telecommunications or technology industry.
* In-depth knowledge of OSS/BSS systems, processes, and best practices.
