Key accountabilities include driving the business to deliver its financial performance and growth through proactive financial management and provision of strong business support to Company decision making. A key member of the Company’s Divisional Management Teams, Finance Manager is a hands-on leadership role, managing a small team and working cross functionally to deliver the role’s responsibilities and duties. The main purpose includes: Maintaining effective financial controls and a business partnering approach Delivery of the Company’s statutory and management accounting requirements, including management information that is accurate, timely and reliable to the CEO, Group COO/CFO and divisional Management Teams. Undertaking analysis and actions to improve profitability and working capital efficiency; includes such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance. Ensuring that both company performance and processes are challenged; where improvements and solutions are continually driven, underpinned by a systems thinking approach. Lead and deliver any functional improvement activity from statutory and business perspective, including improvement/changes to business and accounting systems. Clearly presenting the financial position of the business, its projects & the financial impact of management decisions or inaction.
