About the role
We are seeking a talented Content and Communications Manager to play a key role in the Marketing team. This role requires a dynamic, creative wordsmith with a big personality who can drive communication strategies and enhance brand presence in line with direction from the National Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and delivering compelling messages across various channels and through different mediums to engage audiences whilst maintaining technical accuracy.
Please note, this role is hybrid - there is a requirement to work from the Shepparton office every few weeks within the first few months.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Produce high-quality, engaging content – primarily written content – for multiple channels including eDMs, social media posts, and website copy; and for multiple mediums including script writing for videos, blogs, product information, technical resources, etc.
2. Designing of eDM and social media publications along with input from graphic design and Marketing Manager.
3. Ensure all communications are consistent with the brand's tone, personality, and style.
4. Ensure content is created in a timely manner to meet communication schedules agreed upon with management.
5. Management of social media and email marketing platforms.
6. Assistance with website management.
7. Audience database management, cleansing, and segmentation, with assistance from wider team.
8. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with company values, alongside management.
9. Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance brand awareness and reputation alongside the efforts of the Marketing Manager.
10. Execute internal communication to a high standard through various channels - newsletters, memos and updates.
11. Assist the Marketing team with the strategy, planning, and execution of events of varying scale and format – whether that be basic trade nights to large-scale exhibitions and field days.
12. Attending events where necessary throughout Australia.
13. Load events onto website and coordinate promotion where relevant through eDM, social media, and other channels.
14. Assist management with monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.
15. Utilise analytics to inform and adjust strategies as needed.

* Proven experience in a marketing and/or communications role.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
* Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
* Experience with budget management and strategic planning.
* Enthusiastic and personable personality - ability to contribute to a positive team culture.
* Passion for storytelling and brand building.
* Keen eye and attention to detail, as well as strong creative abilities.
* Innovative and ability to think outside the box when creating compelling and original content.
