Entity: Customers & Products Job Family Group: Business Support Group Job Description: The Project Advisor ensures that key strategic activities are driven and implemented effectively and efficiently in Castrol. This involves working with various partners across the entity and the business to deliver results. The role will lead / support a variety of projects in support of Castrol’s CEO and Leadership Team, as well as contributing to the smooth running of the Exec Office and executive processes. Key Accountabilities Supports the smooth and effective running of the Exec Office, planning ahead, monitoring and prioritising delivery of actions and initiatives, ensuring the agenda fits with the priorities of the business and the corporate timetable. Leads and supports strategic projects for Castrol and the Exec Office to drive business improvement, strategic progression and delivery of key projects. Collaborates with other members of the Executive Office to ensure executive business tasks are efficiently and effectively managed and that actions are recorded, delegated for execution and delivery is monitored. Supports the Castrol Business Advisor and Castrol Leadership Team to ensure they have effective meetings; their priorities are clear and follows up on actions through to completion. Supports the XLT agenda and prepares the CEO for the XLT engagements, including agenda and content preparation to maximise effective outcomes. Supports the Castrol Business Advisor to prepare the CEO for C&P meetings appropriately. Reviews C&P agenda and gathers inputs from Castrol where needed. Supports the review and collation of content material, in full, on time. Supports the business advisor in preparing members of the Castrol Leadership team for market visits, working with key partners to deliver an efficient and effective agenda. Maintains regular contact with key segment stakeholders to progress business issues and monitor progress, including weekly reporting to bp LT stakeholders Proactively driving stakeholder engagement and supporting sustainable business improvement; including embedding more efficient ways of working, digital tools and processes into the leadership team. Support the Castrol Communications team as required with transformation, intranet updates and key internal campaigns (for example: Safety [including Cyber], Ethics & Compliance, Data Privacy). Supports the Castrol business advisor with performance and strategy activation reviews. Skills & Experience Experience and a track record in Castrol (preferred) / BP business Experience working in a matrix organisation with complex interfaces and requirements Experience in commercial, strategy and broad business roles working at senior levels Experience working with communications teams. Strong track record in delivering with minimal supervision Understanding of key business areas such as operations, marketing, sales, strategy and finance.
