Key Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support to clients and within Ringway Infrastructure Services.
2. Liaise with maintenance/TM staff to make optimum use of planned and emergency traffic management.
3. Maximise use of inspection resources to reduce cost base; demonstrate savings through use of planned closures.
4. Maintain and enhance the reputation of Ringway Infrastructure Services by encouraging and demonstrating our core value of integrity.
5. Promote and value our culture of continual improvement while complying with our Business Management System policies and procedures.
6. Ensure all contractual and performance requirements relevant to role are met as well as provide accurate information to enable reporting against.
7. Increase client confidence through quality of KPI & Reporting compliance. Delivery and reporting against programme is paramount.
8. Carry out other duties consistent with the above that may be directed or implied from time to time as required commensurate to the post.
Ideal Candidate
1. Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Commitment to a high level of health and safety performance.
3. Demonstrable experience in undertaking General and Principal inspections of highway structures in a complex environment. Exposure to Network Rail and London Underground requirements would be beneficial.
4. Working understanding of bridge condition indicators.
5. Working knowledge of BridgeStation (desirable).
6. Experience of leading and undertaking structures inspections.
7. Experience in the design of concrete and/or steel highway structures (desirable).
8. Background in construction and maintenance of highway structures and related assets (desirable).
