Development Manager – Server Solutions
About the Role
A leading enterprise technology distributor is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new opportunities and expand customer relationships across the UK and Europe. This role involves identifying new markets, working with account managers to enhance existing business, and positioning the value of server solutions with the support of technical and supplier teams. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge server technologies, collaboration with global brands, and engagement with senior stakeholders across multiple industries.
The team specialises in delivering enterprise server and storage solutions, leveraging an ISO-accredited integration centre and deep market expertise to create tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with a team of account managers, solutions architects, and technology suppliers to lead commercial engagements.
* Identify and onboard new accounts across various market verticals.
* Develop existing customer relationships to support business growth across the UK and EMEA.
* Build and execute business plans aligned with the company’s overall enterprise strategy.
* Lead presentations and meetings to promote server solutions, with the flexibility to travel within Europe.
* Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and contribute to key business objectives.
* Deliver product and market training to internal teams and partners, becoming a trusted advisor.
* Apply strong commercial acumen to maximise profitability in multi-vendor solution proposals.
About You
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven professional with a strong background in enterprise server, storage, or networking technologies. You will have the ability to build and maintain relationships, seek out new opportunities, and communicate technical solutions with confidence.

* Experience selling enterprise server, storage, or networking technologies.
* Strong presentation skills and experience leading meetings.
* Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
* Knowledge of Cloud, HPC, or AI markets.
* Self-motivated with the ability to define and achieve business goals.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
