Qualifications & Skills Required: Time-served trade apprenticeship.
COMPEX certification (hazardous area competence).
Strong technical knowledge with a minimum HNC qualification or equivalent preferred.
Experience in Oil & Gas or a related industry (onshore/offshore) preferred.
Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and safety leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct preventive and EX maintenance on electrical equipment.
Perform HV/LV switching, isolations, and de-isolations.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with complex issues.
Participate in shift planning, shutdowns, and audits.
Test, maintain, and calibrate electrical and portable equipment.
Mentor trainees working towards AEP certification.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental systems.
